Without knowing it Fermo Tanzi had a dream: creating books. Books different from any others. They had to be amazing, beautiful to look at, touch and to hold. Where every page can be relished. The kind of books that he liked, to be discussed with friends or family. Or to be flicked through in blissful solitude seated in an armchair. Not just books but books to fees the eyes and the soul. Real communicative works of art not just simple receptacles of empty words.

Fate made the dream become reality. Fermoeditore was founded.

It is not really a publishing house in the traditional sense but a group made up of frequent travellers and various travelling companions: the authors. Since 2009 it has been developing different projects which the creative director Fermo Tanzi has transformed into works of art with a soul. Using this approach the graphic, photographic or descriptive elements, materials and the paper used are all chosen carefully to “bind” the contents together.
